For ten years, the DRHEAM-CUP – Grand Prix de France de Course au Large has been race that matters. A challenge to rack up miles, of course, but also a collective adventure combining competition, new encounters and shared emotions.

From 9 to 18 July 2026, the fleet will take part in the 6th edition, starting in Cherbourg  and finishing in Lorient. A special edition, as the race will be celebrating its 10th edition.

Since its first edition, the DRHEAM-CUP has developed in line with a motto which has since been written into its DNA: Competition – Sharing  – Celebration

Competition, first. Because on the water, there is total commitment. Skippers come to rack up miles, fine-tune their skills, test their boats and measure themselves with the best. The DRHEAM-CUP 2026 is a qualifying race for the Route du Rhum, making it a key event for many sailors.

Sharing, which is the soul of the DRHEAM-CUP. Here, professional skippers and Corinthian sailors cross the same line with their aspirations, projects and shared passion for the sea. This spirit of openness is also reflected in the “Rêves de Large ” initiative, which brings the thrill of ocean racing to children who would not normally have the opportunity to experience it, and serves as a reminder that the sea is a place of emotion and shared experiences.

Last but not least, Celebration. On the pontoons before the start, interactions between crews, the intensity felt when the fleet takes to sea. A unique atmosphere at each edition, from the starting line to the finish.
